• Bjorn Kommedal: guitar
  • Frank Marchiano: drums, percussion
  • John Giannotti: sax
  • Steve Bergmann: bass

Bjorn Kommedal: Lives and works in Haddon Heights, NJ, where he owns and operates a foreign language translation service. Originally from Oslo, Norway, Bjorn has traveled across the world, his guitar always within reach, thus picking up musical influences from all over the globe. Now settled in the USA, he is musically engaged in various contexts, ranging from open-mic-night sound crew to guitar slinger in Quartet 33.

Frank Marchiano: Multi-faceted artist with a great sense of time. More info to follow.

John Giannotti: Haddonfield resident working as painter and sculptor (yes, he sculpted "Haddy") and former Chair of the Fine Arts Department and Director of International Studies at Rutgers. He currently owns and operates Giannotti Studios and specializes in monumental bronzes. Both art and music have been lifelong passions.

Steve Bergmann: Plays 6-string fretted and fretless basses. Although he has played everything from bubble gum pop to avantegarde jazz throughout his musical journey, jazz funk fusion is where his heart lives. Q33 offers him a liberating opportunity to explore the full range the bass, playing chordal lines as well as bass parts, in lieu of keyboards.
